Elaine founded Elk House Interiors in 2015 with a wealth of experience in residential property having worked in the industry for over 15 years.
Elaine brings her expertise and passion for interiors to every project, big or small. Her knowledge and understanding of space, functionality within the home and how people want to live as well as the desired luxury aesthetic informs her practical, creative and professional approach to every brief.
Elaine’s ability to project manage and liaise with all involved on a scheme ensures delivery of a personalised design service. This considered approach offers clients a collaborative experience resulting in beautiful, timeless and ultimately unique interiors.
Ilenia Russo - Interior Architect & Designer
With extensive industry experience in both commercial and residential, Ilenia combines her expertise in space planning, functionality, and aesthetics to deliver personalised interiors that reflect her clients' unique lifestyles.
Working closely with our suppliers, Ilenia collaborates to curate bespoke furniture and finishes that enhance each project. Her proficiency in technical drafting as well as quick hand-sketching brings Elk House Interiors’ design concepts to life, allowing clients to visualise proposed interior schemes clearly.
Hailing from Italy and having worked in London and Berlin, Ilenia draws on her international experience to infuse her work with a blend of contemporary trends and timeless elegance.
Alan Mates | Interior Designer
With extensive experience in both Irish and international markets, Alan brings a meticulous eye for detail to every project. His designs are thoughtfully tailored to reflect each client’s unique vision.
Committed to delivering exceptional results, Alan transforms ideas into memorable, yet functional spaces. From initial concept to completion, he provides expert guidance throughout the design journey, ensuring a smooth and inspiring process.
Órla Kealy - Colour Consultant
There is nothing Órla doesn’t know about colour. Many years working and experimenting with specialist paints and pigments allows Órla’s trained eye to find the perfect palette for every project.
Whether working with an existing scheme or creating a completely new colourway to a particular brief, Órla’s expertise will help clients make the right and sometimes bold choices for their new and personalised interior.
Órla’s understanding of colour extends to use in fabrics, finishes and lighting, where she will advise and co-ordinate to complete each of Elk House Interiors bespoke projects.
Dee McKiernan | Design Team
Dee, a new addition to our team, has a background in high-end luxury interiors. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for thoughtful, functional design. Dee supports the design team across all stages of a project — from concept development to sourcing carefully curated selections of lighting, furniture, and accessories, as well as assisting with final styling.
Naturally organised, curious, and eager, Dee thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to contributing to Elk House Interiors’ signature aesthetic of timeless, considered spaces.
